Gigs and venues · Auto-KJ v1.30.0 Untimed narration draft. Source-reviewed at 4171265227d8ea584bca359ba40b09d3ac0c8c6a. No new recording or voice audio exists. Paragraph order follows the planned simulated walkthrough; timing must follow the actual capture. 1. Gigs is the new eighth desktop tab, between Inbox and Break-Wave. We will create a fictional venue, schedule gigs, switch the selected show, and review deletion and Instant gig. All account, map and connection results here are simulated. 2. This show marks the selected gig. Tonight and Live are separate labels. The list puts tonight first, followed by repeating gigs and other one-night gigs. Refresh reloads both gigs and venues. 3. Use for this show selects another saved gig and reconnects in cloud mode. It also applies that gig’s blocked-song list. It does not clear the rotation or run Start Fresh Session. 4. Under Venues, choose New venue. This opens the same venue form available inside New gig. Standard venue creation needs a name and street address. 5. Enter Demo Annex and a visibly fictional address, then Add venue. Real addresses are geocoded by the server; this fixture returns a staged record and does not test geocoding. 6. One night uses a single date. Set the sample times to seven through eleven, and uncheck Switch this show to the new gig so the selected show stays where it is. 7. Create gig saves the sample schedule. Verify its new row and that Copper Hall remains selected. The default checked switch would have selected the new gig immediately. 8. Now choose Use for this show on Demo Annex. Its This show badge appears, and its Delete button is disabled. The app requires switching away before deleting the selected gig. 9. New gig also supports weekly schedules. Keep Demo Annex selected, choose Friday and Saturday, and leave the switch unchecked so the selected show stays where it is. 10. Create the weekly gig and verify Every Friday and Saturday in its row. 11. For a monthly gig, add a rule such as first Friday. The UI offers first through fourth occurrences. Last and fifth are not choices. Review the added rule before saving. 12. Create the monthly gig. Its row now shows the first Friday rule, independently of the other Annex schedules. 13. Delete on the unused weekly gig opens a confirmation. Read the warning before deciding. 14. Choose Keep to cancel. The weekly gig remains in the list. 15. Open the weekly deletion again. We will remove this disposable schedule after reviewing its confirmation. 16. Confirm Delete, then Refresh. The row stays gone. The app no longer recreates a deleted gig for a venue during refresh. 17. The selected venue’s Delete button is disabled while this show uses one of its gigs. 18. Switch back to Lantern Room before removing the disposable Annex venue. 19. Delete Demo Annex from Venues and read the confirmation: the venue and its gigs go together. Real deletion can also remove related shows and requests, including old gigs hidden from this list. 20. Confirm this disposable venue deletion. Verify that Demo Annex and both remaining schedules disappear. 21. Instant gig is the fast path. Leave name and address blank and press Start instant gig. The name defaults to Instant Gig. This simulation denies location access, so the new venue is unmapped and singers would use its show code. 22. The instant schedule uses today on this computer, from the current quarter hour to six hours later. A matching saved venue is reused. Supplying an address, or permitting location for a new venue, can locate it for the singer map; this recording does not test that map. 23. A cloud outage can leave a cached list on screen. We stage an unavailable connection and refresh. Creating or deleting account records still needs internet, even while local hosting can continue. 24. Trying Instant gig during this simulated outage shows an error. The fixture creates no new record. On a real rig, check the error and connection before retrying. 25. Settings still owns the show-connection and LAN-network choices. Use the Gigs section of the Field Guide for account-backed gig management. These staged outcomes do not verify real licensing, cloud access, singer discovery or native hardware.
